Surah Sad, Ayah 3 (38:3)

كَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا مِن قَبْلِهِم مِّن قَرْنٍ فَنَادَوا۟ وَّلَاتَ حِينَ مَنَاصٍ

Quran 38:3 is ayah 3 of Surah Sad (“The Letter "Saad"”), a Meccan surah of 88 ayahs. It is in Juz 23, on page 453 of the Madani Mushaf.

38:3

كَمْأَهْلَكْنَامِنقَبْلِهِممِّنقَرْنٍفَنَادَوا۟وَّلَاتَحِينَمَنَاصٍ٣

kam ahlaknā min qablihim min qarnin fanādaw walāta ḥīna manāṣin

How many a generation have We destroyed before them, and they [then] called out; but it was not a time for escape.(3)
