قَالُوا۟ لَن نُّؤْثِرَكَ عَلَىٰ مَا جَآءَنَا مِنَ ٱلْبَيِّنَٰتِ وَٱلَّذِى فَطَرَنَا ۖ فَٱقْضِ مَآ …

Quran 20:72 is ayah 72 of Surah Taha (“Ta-Ha”), a Meccan surah of 135 ayahs. It is in Juz 16, on page 316 of the Madani Mushaf.

20:72
قَالُوا۟لَننُّؤْثِرَكَعَلَىٰمَاجَآءَنَامِنَٱلْبَيِّنَٰتِوَٱلَّذِىفَطَرَنَا ۖفَٱقْضِمَآأَنتَقَاضٍ ۖإِنَّمَاتَقْضِىهَٰذِهِٱلْحَيَوٰةَٱلدُّنْيَآ٧٢
qālū lan nu'thiraka ʿalā mā jāanā mina l-bayināti wa-alladhī faṭaranā fa-iq'ḍi mā anta qāḍin innamā taqḍī hādhihi l-ḥayata l-dun'yā

They said, "Never will we prefer you over what has come to us of clear proofs and [over] He who created us. So decree whatever you are to decree. You can only decree for this worldly life.(72)
