Surah Ya-Sin, Ayah 23 (36:23)

يس

ءَأَتَّخِذُ مِن دُونِهِۦٓ ءَالِهَةً إِن يُرِدْنِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنُ بِضُرٍّ لَّا تُغْنِ عَنِّى شَفَٰعَتُهُمْ شَئًْا …

Quran 36:23 is ayah 23 of Surah Ya-Sin (“Ya Sin”), a Meccan surah of 83 ayahs. It is in Juz 22, on page 441 of the Madani Mushaf.

36:23
ءَأَتَّخِذُمِندُونِهِۦٓءَالِهَةًإِنيُرِدْنِٱلرَّحْمَٰنُبِضُرٍّلَّاتُغْنِعَنِّىشَفَٰعَتُهُمْشَئًْاوَلَايُنقِذُونِ٢٣
a-attakhidhu min dūnihi ālihatan in yurid'ni l-raḥmānu biḍurrin lā tugh'ni ʿannī shafāʿatuhum shayan walā yunqidhūni

Should I take other than Him [false] deities [while], if the Most Merciful intends for me some adversity, their intercession will not avail me at all, nor can they save me?(23)
