Surah Yunus, Ayah 19 (10:19)

يُونُس

وَمَا كَانَ ٱلنَّاسُ إِلَّآ أُمَّةً وَٰحِدَةً فَٱخْتَلَفُوا۟ ۚ وَلَوْلَا كَلِمَةٌ سَبَقَتْ مِن رَّبِّكَ …

Quran 10:19 is ayah 19 of Surah Yunus (“Jonah”), a Meccan surah of 109 ayahs. It is in Juz 11, on page 210 of the Madani Mushaf.

10:19
وَمَاكَانَٱلنَّاسُإِلَّآأُمَّةًوَٰحِدَةًفَٱخْتَلَفُوا۟ ۚوَلَوْلَاكَلِمَةٌسَبَقَتْمِنرَّبِّكَلَقُضِىَبَيْنَهُمْفِيمَافِيهِيَخْتَلِفُونَ١٩
wamā kāna l-nāsu illā ummatan wāḥidatan fa-ikh'talafū walawlā kalimatun sabaqat min rabbika laquḍiya baynahum fīmā fīhi yakhtalifūna

And mankind was not but one community [united in religion], but [then] they differed. And if not for a word that preceded from your Lord, it would have been judged between them [immediately] concerning that over which they differ.(19)
