Surah Yunus, Ayah 42 (10:42)

يُونُس

وَمِنْهُم مَّن يَسْتَمِعُونَ إِلَيْكَ ۚ أَفَأَنتَ تُسْمِعُ ٱلصُّمَّ وَلَوْ كَانُوا۟ لَا يَعْقِلُونَ

Quran 10:42 is ayah 42 of Surah Yunus (“Jonah”), a Meccan surah of 109 ayahs. It is in Juz 11, on page 213 of the Madani Mushaf.

وَمِنْهُممَّنيَسْتَمِعُونَإِلَيْكَ ۚأَفَأَنتَتُسْمِعُٱلصُّمَّوَلَوْكَانُوا۟لَايَعْقِلُونَ٤٢
wamin'hum man yastamiʿūna ilayka afa-anta tus'miʿu l-ṣuma walaw kānū lā yaʿqilūna

And among them are those who listen to you. But can you cause the deaf to hear [i.e., benefit from this hearing], although they will not use reason?(42)
