Surah Al-A'raf, Ayah 197 (7:197)

ٱلْأَعْرَاف

وَٱلَّذِينَ تَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِهِۦ لَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ نَصْرَكُمْ وَلَآ أَنفُسَهُمْ يَنصُرُونَ

Quran 7:197 is ayah 197 of Surah Al-A'raf (“The Heights”), a Meccan surah of 206 ayahs. It is in Juz 9, on page 176 of the Madani Mushaf.

وَٱلَّذِينَتَدْعُونَمِندُونِهِۦلَايَسْتَطِيعُونَنَصْرَكُمْوَلَآأَنفُسَهُمْيَنصُرُونَ١٩٧
wa-alladhīna tadʿūna min dūnihi lā yastaṭīʿūna naṣrakum walā anfusahum yanṣurūna

And those you call upon besides Him are unable to help you, nor can they help themselves."(197)
