ٱلْحَجّ

مَن كَانَ يَظُنُّ أَن لَّن يَنصُرَهُ ٱللَّهُ فِى ٱلدُّنْيَا وَٱلَْٔاخِرَةِ فَلْيَمْدُدْ بِسَبَبٍ …

Quran 22:15 is ayah 15 of Surah Al-Hajj (“The Pilgrimage”), a Medinan surah of 78 ayahs. It is in Juz 17, on page 333 of the Madani Mushaf.

مَنكَانَيَظُنُّأَنلَّنيَنصُرَهُٱللَّهُفِىٱلدُّنْيَاوَٱلَْٔاخِرَةِفَلْيَمْدُدْبِسَبَبٍإِلَىٱلسَّمَآءِثُمَّلْيَقْطَعْفَلْيَنظُرْهَلْيُذْهِبَنَّكَيْدُهُۥمَايَغِيظُ١٥
man kāna yaẓunnu an lan yanṣurahu l-lahu fī l-dun'yā wal-ākhirati falyamdud bisababin ilā l-samāi thumma l'yaqṭaʿ falyanẓur hal yudh'hibanna kayduhu mā yaghīẓu

Whoever should think that Allāh will not support him [i.e., Prophet Muḥammad (ﷺ)] in this world and the Hereafter - let him extend a rope to the ceiling, then cut off [his breath], and let him see: will his effort remove that which enrages [him]?(15)
