Surah Al-Jathiyah, Ayah 5 (45:5)

ٱلْجَاثِيَة

وَٱخْتِلَٰفِ ٱلَّيْلِ وَٱلنَّهَارِ وَمَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مِن رِّزْقٍ فَأَحْيَا بِهِ …

Quran 45:5 is ayah 5 of Surah Al-Jathiyah (“The Crouching”), a Meccan surah of 37 ayahs. It is in Juz 25, on page 499 of the Madani Mushaf.

45:5
وَٱخْتِلَٰفِٱلَّيْلِوَٱلنَّهَارِوَمَآأَنزَلَٱللَّهُمِنَٱلسَّمَآءِمِنرِّزْقٍفَأَحْيَابِهِٱلْأَرْضَبَعْدَمَوْتِهَاوَتَصْرِيفِٱلرِّيَٰحِءَايَٰتٌلِّقَوْمٍيَعْقِلُونَ٥
wa-ikh'tilāfi al-layli wal-nahāri wamā anzala l-lahu mina l-samāi min riz'qin fa-aḥyā bihi l-arḍa baʿda mawtihā wataṣrīfi l-riyāḥi āyātun liqawmin yaʿqilūna

And [in] the alternation of night and day and [in] what Allāh sends down from the sky of provision [i.e., rain] and gives life thereby to the earth after its lifelessness and [in His] directing of the winds are signs for a people who reason.(5)
