لِّنَفْتِنَهُمْ فِيهِ ۚ وَمَن يُعْرِضْ عَن ذِكْرِ رَبِّهِۦ يَسْلُكْهُ عَذَابًا صَعَدًا

Quran 72:17 is ayah 17 of Surah Al-Jinn (“The Jinn”), a Meccan surah of 28 ayahs. It is in Juz 29, on page 573 of the Madani Mushaf.

72:17

لِّنَفْتِنَهُمْفِيهِ ۚوَمَنيُعْرِضْعَنذِكْرِرَبِّهِۦيَسْلُكْهُعَذَابًاصَعَدًا١٧

linaftinahum fīhi waman yuʿ'riḍ ʿan dhik'ri rabbihi yasluk'hu ʿadhāban ṣaʿadan

So We might test them therein. And whoever turns away from the remembrance of his Lord He will put into arduous punishment.(17)
