Surah Al-Ma'arij, Ayah 43 (70:43)

ٱلْمَعَارِج

يَوْمَ يَخْرُجُونَ مِنَ ٱلْأَجْدَاثِ سِرَاعًا كَأَنَّهُمْ إِلَىٰ نُصُبٍ يُوفِضُونَ

Quran 70:43 is ayah 43 of Surah Al-Ma'arij (“The Ascending Stairways”), a Meccan surah of 44 ayahs. It is in Juz 29, on page 570 of the Madani Mushaf.

يَوْمَيَخْرُجُونَمِنَٱلْأَجْدَاثِسِرَاعًاكَأَنَّهُمْإِلَىٰنُصُبٍيُوفِضُونَ٤٣
yawma yakhrujūna mina l-ajdāthi sirāʿan ka-annahum ilā nuṣubin yūfiḍūna

The Day they will emerge from the graves rapidly as if they were, toward an erected idol, hastening.(43)
