خَٰشِعَةً أَبْصَٰرُهُمْ تَرْهَقُهُمْ ذِلَّةٌ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلْيَوْمُ ٱلَّذِى كَانُوا۟ يُوعَدُونَ

Quran 70:44 is ayah 44 of Surah Al-Ma'arij (“The Ascending Stairways”), a Meccan surah of 44 ayahs. It is in Juz 29, on page 570 of the Madani Mushaf.

خَٰشِعَةًأَبْصَٰرُهُمْتَرْهَقُهُمْذِلَّةٌ ۚذَٰلِكَٱلْيَوْمُٱلَّذِىكَانُوا۟يُوعَدُونَ٤٤

khāshiʿatan abṣāruhum tarhaquhum dhillatun dhālika l-yawmu alladhī kānū yūʿadūna

Their eyes humbled, humiliation will cover them. That is the Day which they had been promised.(44)
