Surah Al-Qasas, Ayah 86 (28:86)

ٱلْقَصَص

وَمَا كُنتَ تَرْجُوٓا۟ أَن يُلْقَىٰٓ إِلَيْكَ ٱلْكِتَٰبُ إِلَّا رَحْمَةً مِّن رَّبِّكَ ۖ فَلَا تَكُونَنَّ …

Quran 28:86 is ayah 86 of Surah Al-Qasas (“The Stories”), a Meccan surah of 88 ayahs. It is in Juz 20, on page 396 of the Madani Mushaf.

28:86
وَمَاكُنتَتَرْجُوٓا۟أَنيُلْقَىٰٓإِلَيْكَٱلْكِتَٰبُإِلَّارَحْمَةًمِّنرَّبِّكَ ۖفَلَاتَكُونَنَّظَهِيرًالِّلْكَٰفِرِينَ٨٦
wamā kunta tarjū an yul'qā ilayka l-kitābu illā raḥmatan min rabbika falā takūnanna ẓahīran lil'kāfirīna

And you were not expecting that the Book would be conveyed to you, but [it is] a mercy from your Lord. So do not be an assistant to the disbelievers.(86)
