Surah Ali 'Imran, Ayah 162 (3:162)

آلِ عِمْرَان

أَفَمَنِ ٱتَّبَعَ رِضْوَٰنَ ٱللَّهِ كَمَنۢ بَآءَ بِسَخَطٍ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ وَمَأْوَىٰهُ جَهَنَّمُ ۚ وَبِئْسَ …

Quran 3:162 is ayah 162 of Surah Ali 'Imran (“Family of Imran”), a Medinan surah of 200 ayahs. It is in Juz 4, on page 71 of the Madani Mushaf.

3:162
أَفَمَنِٱتَّبَعَرِضْوَٰنَٱللَّهِكَمَنۢبَآءَبِسَخَطٍمِّنَٱللَّهِوَمَأْوَىٰهُجَهَنَّمُ ۚوَبِئْسَٱلْمَصِيرُ١٦٢
afamani ittabaʿa riḍ'wāna l-lahi kaman bāa bisakhaṭin mina l-lahi wamawāhu jahannamu wabi'sa l-maṣīru

So is one who pursues the pleasure of Allāh like one who brings upon himself the anger of Allāh and whose refuge is Hell? And wretched is the destination.(162)
