غَافِر

فَلَمَّا جَآءَهُم بِٱلْحَقِّ مِنْ عِندِنَا قَالُوا۟ ٱقْتُلُوٓا۟ أَبْنَآءَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ …

Quran 40:25 is ayah 25 of Surah Ghafir (“The Forgiver”), a Meccan surah of 85 ayahs. It is in Juz 24, on page 469 of the Madani Mushaf.

40:25
فَلَمَّاجَآءَهُمبِٱلْحَقِّمِنْعِندِنَاقَالُوا۟ٱقْتُلُوٓا۟أَبْنَآءَٱلَّذِينَءَامَنُوا۟مَعَهُۥوَٱسْتَحْيُوا۟نِسَآءَهُمْ ۚوَمَاكَيْدُٱلْكَٰفِرِينَإِلَّافِىضَلَٰلٍ٢٥
falammā jāahum bil-ḥaqi min ʿindinā qālū uq'tulū abnāa alladhīna āmanū maʿahu wa-is'taḥyū nisāahum wamā kaydu l-kāfirīna illā fī ḍalālin

And when he brought them the truth from Us, they said, "Kill the sons of those who have believed with him and keep their women alive." But the plan of the disbelievers is not except in error.(25)
