Surah Ghafir, Ayah 45 (40:45)

غَافِر

فَوَقَىٰهُ ٱللَّهُ سَئَِّاتِ مَا مَكَرُوا۟ ۖ وَحَاقَ بَِٔالِ فِرْعَوْنَ سُوٓءُ ٱلْعَذَابِ

Quran 40:45 is ayah 45 of Surah Ghafir (“The Forgiver”), a Meccan surah of 85 ayahs. It is in Juz 24, on page 472 of the Madani Mushaf.

فَوَقَىٰهُٱللَّهُسَئَِّاتِمَامَكَرُوا۟ ۖوَحَاقَبَِٔالِفِرْعَوْنَسُوٓءُٱلْعَذَابِ٤٥
fawaqāhu l-lahu sayyiāti mā makarū waḥāqa biāli fir'ʿawna sūu l-ʿadhābi

So Allāh protected him from the evils they plotted, and the people of Pharaoh were enveloped by the worst of punishment -(45)
